Dearest Blog,
Yes, instead of packing for my trip to China in 2 days, I am in fact blogging. Am I worried yet? No. I had a handful of things left to take care of, namely find a power converter and a plug adapter, but I've been informed by multiple travelers that these are unnecessary, so I'll buy one there if need be. And my issue of buying a phone there has been solved since Seancy will be loaning me his while I'm there.
So how am I feeling at this point? Pretty excited. I was a little nervous a couple days ago, mostly because I had to assuage my parents' fears that China is going to eat me alive. However, now I'm just super excited. I also have this weird conflicting feeling of sadness because I will be leaving my co-op job permanently, or at least for the next year, and it's been such a big part of my life the last 2 years, it's been really nostalgic. I don't know if I'll wind up there again even though I have a lot of personal interest in seeing it succeed, so it's a bittersweet week trying to plan out what I need to take home and what I need to pack to go the 14 and a half hours over to China.
I expect a more frantic and exciting update at this point tomorrow.
